Hi folks

Firstly, I hope you all have a good Xmas and new year.

Secondly, I have an Xmas present. Version 0.4 (beta 1) of the DVD Profiler
Companion, now has (most of) the functionality that DVDFolks had/has. Not
only can it do films and TV shows, but it offers complete control over
exactly which episodes to include/exclude from the list (DVDFolks just
offered to restrict episodes to a season/part-season). As far as I know, the
only thing that DVDFolks does that I haven't added into the Companion yet is
the ability to edit the names/roles before making the XML. I will be adding
that, but since other tools (e.g Tom Gaine's editor) exist that can do that,
I thought it more important to get the 'unique' functionality out into the
world now, than wait until I've added that capability.

You can download a standalone version of the Companion from
http://www.dougweb.org/dvdpro/companion/companion0.4b1.exe. It is also
available as a Firefox extension from
http://www.dougweb.org/dvdpro/companion/companion0.4b1.xpi.

Any bugs in the IMDb extraction should continue to be reported here, and not
to the IVS forums.

Thanks
